We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the Workshops on Research Methodology & Biostatistics for undergraduate medical students, organized by The Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University. These workshops were conducted on multiple dates throughout 2024 and aimed to provide students with essential knowledge and skills in research methodology.

The sessions were designed specifically for third-year undergraduate medical students across various medical colleges in Tamil Nadu, focusing on foundational concepts of research methodology. Dr. Yuvaraj Krishnamoorthy led engaging sessions that significantly contributed to the students’ deeper understanding of different research designs and their applications in medical research.

Through these workshops, students gained insights into the research process, including how to formulate research questions, select appropriate study designs, and understand the importance of biostatistics in interpreting research data. The interactive format encouraged active participation, allowing students to discuss real-world research scenarios and challenges.
