This completed project involved a comprehensive landscape review to identify and prioritize key ingested per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and their potential health effects. We developed a structured scoring system based on environmental occurrence and biomonitoring data to rank PFAS compounds of highest public health concern. The output will guide WHO’s future derivation of health-based guidance values.
