This completed project systematically mapped studies from LMICs examining how gender intersects with social factors in the context of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). We found limited intersectional research, with most studies conflating sex and gender. Our analysis identifies key gaps and calls for equity-focused,
mixed-methods research in AMR strategies.
