Internship Program at PROPUL Evidence LLP- 2025

PROPUL Evidence LLP successfully conducted its internship program with 13 interns participating in the cohort. Of these, 11 interns have completed the program, while 2 interns are currently continuing their internship with the organization.

The internship was designed to provide students with practical exposure to advanced research methods and evidence synthesis, bridging classroom learning with real-world public health research applications. The program aimed to strengthen analytical thinking, methodological understanding, and research competence through guided learning and hands-on involvement.

Throughout the program, interns participated in a series of interactive sessions on advanced research techniques, including systematic reviews, meta-analysis, scientific writing, and data interpretation. These sessions helped build a strong foundation in research methodology while encouraging critical engagement with scientific literature.

A key feature of the internship was the Journal Club presentations delivered by each intern. These sessions encouraged critical appraisal, improved communication and presentation skills, and helped interns develop confidence in discussing and evaluating research evidence.

Interns were also actively involved in ongoing Evidence Synthesis and Health Economics projects at PROPUL Evidence LLP. This provided valuable experience in collaborative research settings and allowed them to contribute meaningfully to live projects while learning project-based research practices.

In addition, each intern undertook an individual research project under the mentorship of the organization’s research team. These projects gave interns the opportunity to apply their learning to specific topics of interest and contribute to diverse areas of public health and evidence generation.
