We are thrilled to share the success of our Pre-Conference Workshop, WS 6 – Smart Learning: Integrating AI into Medical Education, held at METCON 2025 on January 10, 2025, at the esteemed ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Hyderabad. The workshop was expertly led by Dr. Yuvaraj Krishnamoorthy, Head of the Evidence Synthesis Unit at PROPUL Evidence LLP, alongside Dr. Dhanajayan Govindan. This full-day, interactive event explored the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical education, offering participants valuable tools and strategies to enhance learning outcomes and advance Competency-Based Medical Education (CBME).

The workshop fostered engaging discussions, where participants delved into the integration of AI in medical education and examined its potential to revolutionize teaching and learning. In addition, the workshop featured several hands-on sessions where attendees explored various AI tools for practical applications, such as content creation, including PowerPoint presentations and document summarization. Participants were also introduced to innovative teaching and learning methods, and they had the opportunity to use AI tools to design assignments and assessments, as well as to enhance student evaluation and feedback processes.

To further enrich the learning experience, the workshop included interactive case studies that demonstrated the real-world impact of AI in healthcare training. One notable project showcased the tangible benefits AI can offer in the field of medical education, helping to bring these concepts to life.

We are extremely proud of our team and the participants, whose collaboration and enthusiasm contributed to the success of this workshop.
